“KATE: Was it your interest in reiki that led you to crystals or was it the other way around?
ROMANA: I think first of all were crystals, definitely. I went on a retreat with a lady who was doing cacao ceremonies and I took a clear quartz crystal with me. For some reason, the people on the retreat with me were calling me “Stone Woman” because they said my energy was so solid. I’m like a grounded rock. I took the clear quartz with me and I left it in Greece in an ancient olive grove because I felt like I wanted to give it back to the earth. And that was before I learned how to do reiki. I think I have a connection with earth element quite strongly. That’s how crystals connect with me as a person.”
